On the recent visitation to Egypt Srs. Terentia and Jeanette spent a few days at Sacred Heart School in Alexandria. Shown here are Srs. Veronice, Margaret Mary and Mrs. Amal, the principal.
They also visited the old convent next door which is presently being transformed into a Copt Orthodox Church. The priest, Fr. Basilius Ramzy, could not have been more hospitable. He took the sisters on a complete tour including the upstairs rooms which now are transformed into a nursery school housing almost 70 children.
Another interesting find was this photo from St. Clare’s in Heliopolis. Want a ride?
