I have been the Director of Human Development at St. Margaret’s since March 1 of 2012 and I like it very much. St. Margaret’s is a very active, vibrant parish in Mattydale, New York which is just north of Syracuse in the town of Salina. The demographics are very diverse. We have a very large client base determined by those who use our food pantry. We have approximately 120 families using our pantry on a monthly basis.

The Cristo Rey Network began with one Jesuit high school in Chicago in 1996. That school became the foundation for a network of schools which continues to grow. Today there are 25 Cristo Rey schools located in 24 cities, 17 states and the District of Columbia. It is the goal of the Network to have 50 schools across the country within the next ten years.
The Stillpoint House of Prayer is a Hispanic outreach center which serves a community of about 60 women children and men. We give out food and clothing and if we have donations, we help with rent, food, and medical expenses.
