Sr. Margretta Flanagan has been accompanying women and men on their spiritual journey for many years. Her full-time practice is located at our Newton, Massachusetts Campus which houses our Governance Circle Leadership Offices, Mount Alvernia High School and a community of our retired and semi-retired sisters. Recently Margretta wrote:
“I continue to enjoy the privilege of accompanying people from diverse backgrounds and faith traditions. Many come because of trauma, others seek meaning amid a suffering and turbulent world. It never ceases to amaze me how God touches each person with some form of healing. They find our convent a welcoming and peaceful setting even when the students are in session and it’s hopping. They often comment on the liveliness and how refreshing it is to be around youth.”
